Pick a folder and every image file that appears in it from then on is scanned into the selected list automatically. Add as many folders as you have scanners — each is watched separately.

Off, the folder's current contents are left alone and only new arrivals are scanned. This applies when a folder is added.

Your files are never changed — nothing is moved, renamed or deleted, and the folder is opened read-only. Watching stops when this page is closed or reloaded.

This browser cannot be notified when a file appears, so the folders are checked every couple of seconds instead. That works the same, just with a short delay — but a file whose name contains * ? : | < > cannot be listed this way and will be missed without any warning. Foil scans are often named with a *. Chrome 151 or newer picks those up properly.

Folder Watch needs a Chromium-based browser (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera) on a desktop. Your browser cannot give a web page access to a folder.
